Whale is found in Cabo Frio

A beached whale attracted the attention of the swimmers Florestinha Beach in Cabo Frio, in the Lakes Region of Rio de Janeiro and the animal was killed near the seashore. In less than a month, this is the second whale that is found in the region.

According to biologists during the winter, the whales tend to migrate to the South Pole Abrolhos, Bahia, passing close to the coast. On the way, some tend to fall short.

In June, a humpback whale was found in Arraial do Cabo, a nearby town. The researchers said that this species was a male, with 10 meters and about 10 tons.

Orca is found in Rio de Janeiro Brazil

She was seen on 02 March, the Reserve Beach in Rio de Janeiro a whale that was swimming toward the Barra da Tijuca.

Marine biologist Marcelo Szpilman, the Institute Aqualung, seeing the pictures said it is a killer and not a whale as he said the original text of this report.

According to him, not the usual appearance of this species in Brazilian waters, but other whales, which are the same family of dolphins have been seen before.
