Galés: Extraordinary pools formed by reef located 3 kilometers from the coast. Trafalgar: This Dutch ship that sank in the eighteenth century is completely broken up. But it is still possible to see the masts and a large anchor. Much of the wreckage is located in a shallow water, on top of the reefs. Visibility is less than 10 meters, but there is a lot of marine life at the site, including many sea cucumbers. The constant ocean swell makes diving somewhat difficult.

Ponta Negra: Large rocks make passages and mazes of up to 18 meters in depth. From that point on the seabed is flat and sandy, There are schools of sole and other benthic fish on the sand. Among the rocks there will be groupers, lobsters and morays.

Diving in India, Espirito Santo

Guarapari, capital of the state Espirito Santo, is a great place for scuba diving and snorkeling. There you can find different islands with visibility underwater of at least 12 meters. One of the best sites for diving is Índia, with the maximum depth of 55 meters.

Índia is located 3 hours by sea from the port of Guarapari. There you can find a shipwreck of a 30 meter long fishing vessel on the open sea. The wreckage is sitting upright on a bed of sand, with the deck and bow intact.

Enjoy diving and snorkeling surrounded by migrating fish, various schools and large predatory fish, including groupers, jewfish, cobias, tunas and barracudas.

Snorkeling in Jardim is mentioned in a tourism blog

Ana Paula and Thalles, authors of the blog “Dicas de Férias”, visited some attractions in Bonito and region including the Recanto Ecologico Rio da Prata.

The couple was amazed by the crystal clear waters and the doce de leite, a typical Brazilian dessert.

“Snorkeling in Bonito is an amazing and remarkable experience. All the attractions have their own charm, but Rio da Prata is the longest and where we were able to see a great variety of fish”, writes Ana Paula.
